About this event

Ben Starav is a monster of a Munro and from many angles, dominates the skyline at the head of Glen Etive. It doesn't stand alone however, and is in fact just 1 in a compact group of 5 Munros that are normally tackled over 2 or even 3 seperate day trips. We are here to visit all 5 summits in one single, long day. Our circular route is not to be underestimated and would normally only be considered by the experienced and very fit walker who routinely are well inside the Walk Highlands time estimates. We start from sea level on our long, 1100m climb up the north ridge to the summit of Ben Starav where our walk is only really just beginning. I absolutely love this route; heaps of variety, some easy scrambling, a sense of remoteness and the views are worthy of 5 stars the whole day long. I once lost my father-in-laws SLR camera up here during a sunrise effort and whenever I return I make half an effort to search for it. Should anyone who joins me on this walk find it, I'll refund their entire booking fee! This really is a walk not to miss. Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your booking : Booking cancellations must be made in writing. If you cancel more than 28 days before an event takes place, your payment will be refunded minus a £10 booking deposit. If you cancel 28 days or less before an event takes place, no payment will be returned. We do not offer credit towards future events in place of a refund. We strongly recommend you take out appropriate holiday insurance to cover for unforeseen events that may cause you to cancel your booking. If we have to cancel your booking : Regardless of reason, in the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, then we will refund your payment in full. We will try and give as much notice as possible. For weather related cancellations, notice could be as short as a couple of days. For other reasons, we would hope to give a fortnight's notice, possibly more. We cannot be held liable for additional costs you may have incurred such as accommodation or transport you may have booked.
