About this event
Beinn Fhionnlaidh has to be one of the most underrated Munros in the whole of the Highlands. It really is a fantastic Munro and offers some of the best views of the nearby peaks of Glencoe and Glen Etive. This grass covered and 'easy-going' Munro offers a superb introduction to Munro bagging. In summer, the lower slopes turn into a meadow of brightly coloured alpine flowers. Often large parcel of deer seek refuge here and the song of the Meadow Pipits and the gentle trickling of the flowing burns are the only sounds to break the silence. As height is gained a cluster of picturesque lochans provides the perfect spot to stop and rest and refill water bottles or, for those more hardy souls, take a refreshing dip! Beyond the lochans, our route weaves it's way easily around more rocky terrain before arriving at the summit trig point. Just make sure to bring your camera!
