Based in Glencoe, the heart of some of Scotland's most dramatic and beautiful mountain landscapes, Walk Glencoe offers guided hillwalking, mountaineering, and Highland experiences for all abilities.
Drawing on an intimate local knowledge of the mountains and glens , the history and the wildlife, Christian Howell, qualified winter mountain leader, is honoured to be able to share his passion and enthusiasm with you.
About our Events
At Walk Glencoe we offer a comprehensive selection of adventures and experience days to suit all abilities.

Our Highland Experience Days are typically shorter, less challenging days, involving minimal ascent of not more than 900m metres and often significantly less, and lasting for between 4-6 hours.
​
Our Classic Hillwalking Days are longer and more challenging, involving usually between 1100-1500m of ascent. Expect to be walking for up to 8 hours.
​
Our Multi-Munro Bagging Days are our physically most challenging events. A higher level of fitness would be required to get the most out of these days. Distances covered are greater and we would typically be ascending between 1500 - 2200m over a long, 10 hour+ day. It would not be unusual to be finishing a Multi-Munro Bagging Day after dark.
​
All of our events require a moderate level of fitness and stamina. Paths will not always be obvious and even on our easiest events, expect rough and rocky terrain in places and the occasional boulder-field or section of steeper ground. Maybe you want to escape the crowds and leave all traces of path behind; Walk Glencoe can take you off the beaten track where you'll likely see nobody else until you arrive at the summit cairn.

Maybe you're after a more leisurely day; Walk Glencoe can put together a memorable day where you'll explore remote glens, discover hidden Lochans and waterfalls that few others get to see.

Maybe you are keen to make a big dent in your Munro tally; Walk Glencoe can tailor Multi-Munro bagging days. We can also plan routes that visit those less well known Munros, Corbetts or Grahams.

In addition to our schedule of planned events, Walk Glencoe will work with you to find the perfect route, matched to your ability and aspirations to ensure a truly memorable day.

Private guiding and bespoke events are available on any day of the week throughout the year.

Cost per day : £150.00 Group size 1-2 people.
£180.00 Group size 3-4 people.
£210.00 Group size 5-6 people.

Cost per day : £180.00 Group size 1-2 people.
£210.00 Group size 3-4 people.
£240.00 Group size 5-6 people.
